Questions people ask first
Where does the data come from?
Public business data from our data partner and from businesses' own websites. Every lead shows its source and the date it was found.
What about India's data protection law (DPDP)?
Troop is built around it: every lead carries its source, a “no” is honoured across all of Troop and kept even if the lead is deleted, and you can delete your workspace and its data at any time.
Do emails go out from my own address?
They go from a sender we set up for your account, under the names you choose — no domain or DNS work for you. Replies come back to Troop and are copied to your email.
Will messages sound like templates?
No. Each one is written for that business from facts Troop found, and any number in it is checked against those facts. You can also write your own copy.
Is there a subscription?
No. Every new account gets 100 free credits to try Troop — no card, no time limit. After that you buy credits when you need them, and they never expire.
Can I take my leads with me?
Yes. Export your pipeline to CSV — businesses, scores, reasons, stages and sources — for 1 credit per lead, once.
